Introducing the Celestial Glow - Devlog 27/11/2023
Hello there again!
This week, we come to share with you guys what has been a side topic of many of our previous devlogs, our protagonist's main power: The Celestial Glow! wooo
The Celestial Glow is the main tool you will have access to while playing Twilight Glow, allowing you to interact with the environment and with objects in special ways. Throught the game, you will constantly have to think on how to utilize it to be able to clear the hurdles that are presented towards you.
But what is the Celestial Glow? I'm glad you asked!
It shows itself as a triggered ability in an Aura around the player, lasting a couple seconds before fading away and entering a cooldown. While the Celestial Glow is active, you are able to see behind the cloud covering that hides the skyes and reveal (or hide) things in the environment.
As per the rest of the game, there are two main modes of the Celestial Glow: Sun & Moon.
Sun Glow
The sun glow is a bright, flashy glow, which uses it's strenght to blast things away while active. It's main usage is blowing away the Sun Clouds you will encounter while playing, allowing you to cross their space as long as the glow remains active.
Moon Glow
As a contrast, the moon glow is a dark, eery glow, which channels the sky for your assistance. You will commonly use it to reveal (and materialize) constellation links, which can serve as physical - yet temporary) platforms to help you in the environment, for as long as the glow still shines.
